United States Army 186th Infantry Regiment Unit Crest (Custodes Portae Occidentis)

Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 186th Infantry Regiment. Custodes Portae Occidentis is their motto which means Guards of the Western Gate. A unit of the Oregon Army National Guard (OR ARNG) these unit crests were approved for wear in 1925. Worn on the Army Class A Uniform (Greens) and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
